The Messerschmitt ME163 "KOMET" Designed by R. Bulk
Building the ME163 RC Warbird is easy and fun. The "komet" is revolutionary in design. When Alexander Lippisch, famous German aircraft manufacturer, released this rocket-powered interceptor in 1941 it left Allied forces in surprise. With a top speed of 1,130 km/h (700 mph) the ME163 was unmatched for over a decade. But the Komet was not as useful in it's intended role as an interceptor, and only about 370 were built.
